The table at Kasteberg is located amongst old meadows and encircled by dense forests, about 2 kilometres from Kastebergs Gård. Here, you’ll be greeted by old stone walls and wild apple trees. Sometimes, the cattle will be grazing on the rolling meadows surrounding the table.

Kastebergs Gård is also home to an old farmhouse with all your favourite farm animals. This is steeped in history as the ancestors of the current owners at Kasteberg's Gård all grew up here, with the farm having been passed through many generations. They also grow a lot of rapeseed, which they then turn into rapeseed oil and sell to the public alongside their own meat produce. It’s no surprise then, that apples and rapeseed oil are featured ingredients on the homemade menu.

Eating in Swedish nature. Swedish forests are filled with edible treats such as berries, mushroom, nettles and other greens, and they are of course best enjoyed in the outdoors.
