The table is located in Eskilstuna, a city recently labelled “the world capital of recycling” because of its efforts towards sustainable evolution. It created the world’s first recycling mall, ReTuna – the first real sustainable shopping experience. The table is located at the peaceful Ekeby wetland, which lies on the opposite side of ReTuna. Getting to the table from the city centre is easy. Simply take a bike tour or stroll along the Eskilstuna River or if you prefer, you can choose public transportation.

While foraging and cooking in nature is fun, it can also be a bit of a challenge. For a truly fulfilling experience, we recommend you book an add-on. A local foraging guide, a professional chef or a comfortable accommodation nearby will make your visit all the more memorable.

Welcome to Sweden's castle capital, Sörmland. In the forests of Sörmland, we have a total of 400 castles and manor houses. Many are open to the public, such as Sundbyholm's Slott, where you can visit to relax in the spa, fine dine, enjoy a conference or simply to experience natural beauty. In addition to the do-it-yourself experience, Sörmland offers beautiful landscapes, plenty of forestry and nature with Sweden's longest lowland route, called Sörmlandsleden. You can even try stress therapy within nature to get your balance back.
In Sörmland, you will find culinary experiences with a strong focus on game meat and locally produced food from our local food and beverage producers, who protect its identity. To read more about the tables, additional experiences and other activities, visit Stockholm Country Break.
